Popcorn Garland

Popcorn garlands are cute and inexpensive ways to decorate for the holidays. They are traditional and cozy additions to your Christmas tree, mantle or banisters.

Equipment

  • 1 sewing needle (tapestry needles work best)

Materials

  • 8 cups popcorn popped, unsalted and unbuttered
  • fresh cranberries, dehydrated lemons, limes or oranges
  • 15 feet strong thread, floss, or fishing line

Instructions

  • Cut desired length of your string (thread, floss or fishing wire)
  • Thread needle, and knot the end of the string
  • With the needle, pierce your popcorn and thread onto the end of your string up to your knot
  • Continue stringing popcorn, adding in cranberries or dehydrated citrus as you like.
  • When you have your desired length, tie off
