Autumn Blues

As we move into sweater weather and warmer hues, let me convince you that blue is a great choice for fall decorating. Blue might seem incongruous with the reds, oranges, yellows, and browns we associate with fall, but these autumn blues are worth consideration. Paired with candlelight, an early setting sun, or twinkling bulbs, blue brings serenity, sophistication, and balance. If you’re choosing paint for your home this time of year you might be tempted to choose traditional fall colours, but don’t be afraid to think outside the box with autumn blues.

Hey there!

We’re Jen and Amber.

We are cousins, but also business partners and BFFs. We are constantly on the move, whether that's running a business or running after a toddler, remodeling our homes, recipe testing, scheming or dreaming.

This blog is a personal project for us, allowing us to share with you whatever we are thinking about or working on at the time. You might find a new recipe, you might find a strong opinion on dark academia or you might find out why we bought a restaurant.

Thanks for stopping by!

72 days until the sun sets at 8pm! We don’t have 72 days until the sun sets at 8pm! We don’t have great (or even good) light in our home and I cannot wait for longer days. In the meantime we will keep painting all of our walls white out of sheer necessity.
